Our Facility

Peacock Family Services is committed to the physical and emotional safety of youth, and is reflected in the design of our facility. The C. Keith Birkenfeld Early Childhood Development Center was created to LEED specifications following our re-design and build out.

The U.S. Green Building Council developed the LEED building certification system to recognize design and construction aimed at improving performance in the categories of energy savings, water efficiency, carbon dioxide emissions, indoor environmental quality, stewardship of resources, and sensitivity to environmental impact.

The re-design and build out of the early childhood center that enabled us to reinforce our commitment to environmental health was a community project resulting from the generous contributions of in-kind professional services and materials.
