Discover. Explore. Connect.
Focusing on communication, team building, and Next Generation Science Standards, our camps offer unique opportunities for youth K-3 to explore local ecosystems and learn new skills. We offer ten weeks of day camps throughout the calendar year, eight of which are our summer camps that run June-August, and two of which are our school-break camps that occur during the Bainbridge Island School District mid-winter and spring breaks in February and April. Below, you’ll discover information regarding our upcoming summer day camps:
June 26 – August 18: 9AM – 4:30PM
We are thrilled to share a summer of fun, friendship, and discovery as we host eight weeks of day camps for youth K-3! (FULL) Mad Scientists (June 26-30): Join us as we discover cool chemical reactions, funky forensic tools, and capture the curious moments in nature. We’ll create powerful parachutes, oozing ooblek, and more!
Making Magic (July 3-7, closed July 4): Step into a world of magic as we spend our week creating magical moments for the community. We’ll conjure tasty meals for food banks, concoct crafty creations to deliver, and thrive in the magic of kindness!
(FULL) Guardians of Nature (July 10-14): Become a member of the Guardians of Nature – a group dedicated to the protection of our planet! Help migrating birds, save bees, and plant trees during this fun-filled week! West Sound Wildlife will join the Guardians with one of their educational ambassadors.
Animal Adventures (July 17-21): Learn how to make the community a safer place for all animals as we dive into veterinary science, become responsible pet guardians, and meet lots of terrific critters, including an educational ambassador from West Sound Wildlife! Limited spaces available – contact the Program Manager for details.
Fact or Fiction? (July 24-28): Myths can be larger than life, but are they true? This camp will focus on putting myths to the test as we use scientific methods to explore local legends and nature’s mysteries.
