Birthing Families: Healthy Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Beyond
A class taught by a multidisciplinary team of childbirth educators, nurses, midwives, doulas, and massage, yoga, and nutrition professionals. This 9-week series is geared toward providing families with comprehensive information about having a healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum for hospital, birth center, or home births. The series is offered quarterly, and DSHS is accepted.
HypnoBirthing is designed to teach women to trust in Nature’s way of birth and to relax and let their bodies do what is needed. By practicing a few key techniques, mothers program their minds and condition their bodies to birth easily.
A birth doula is a person trained and experienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and just after childbirth.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)
WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Bringing Baby Home
Bringing Baby Home workshop is for expectant couples and couples with babies and young children. It provides an opportunity to strengthen the couple relationship, prepare for the transition to parenthood and learn about child development.
